Bald Mountain was built in 1968. Seen in the hit movie "Dirty Dancing," it was named for the rockfaced cliffs towering over the course. Bald Mountain offers a true challenge in a lovely setting. Black Mountain

Black Mountain Golf Club is located at the foot of the beautiful Black Mountain Range in western North Carolina. This 6,215-yard par 71 18-hole facility is the home to the 747-yard, par 6 17th hole, which at one time was the longest hole in the world.

Boone Golf Club

The Boone Golf Club sits at 3,346 feet of elevation and was designed by Ellis Maples (protégé of Donald Ross) in 1959. You may recognize Maples name from his designs at over 60 southern U.S. golf clubs, including Whispering Pines, Pinehurst #5 and Grandfather Mountain Golf & Country Club, which ranks consistently within the top 10 courses in the region. Likewise, Boone Golf Club is considered one of the highest-rated public golf courses in Western North Carolina.

Connestee Falls

Nestled in the cool foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, Connestee Falls was designed to preserve the natural envirinment. Golf course architect George W. Cobb created this challenging 6400 yard par 72 course against a spectacular backdrop of the mountains and forest. This lush mountain course is very secluded and located in a gated community near Brevard, NC. Guests enjoy playing on manicured bent grass tees, fairways and greens.

The Golf Course at The Grove Park Inn Resort & Spa first opened for play in 1899 and was redesigned in 1924 by Donald Ross. The 6,720-yard, par 70 layout is a shot maker's challenge with emphasis on accuracy rather than power.

Laurel Ridge

The sculpture of this magnificent course is Robert Cupp, Jack Nicklaus's chief designer for 14 years. The contour of the land, the flowing streams, reflective ponds, sand and grass bunkers are employed masterfully to give each hole its own unique character. Laurel Ridge is Haywood County's  only private golf club community  and is located among the meadows and mountainsides overlooking Waynesville, North Carolina.

The golf course at Maggie Valley Club has been rated One Of America's Best by GOLFWEEK and a Top 50 Southern Resort Course by the Southern Living Travel Guide, one of only six courses so rated in North Carolina. Beautiful, large bent grass greens are the finest in the area. We keep them soft so good approach shots are rewarded. The fairways are Kentucky Blue Grass and remain green all year long.

Mount Mitchell

The Mount Mitchell Golf Club has been rated four and a half stars (out of five) by Golf Digest Magazine. It is a player friendly par 72, with no blind shots and scenery that makes it hard to keep your mind on golf. It features bent grass tees, greens and fairways. It is in the Toe River valley and is virtually flat. The golf course opens in April and closes during the month of November.

The history of Mountain Glen begins with several tracts of land including a 400-acre dairy farm were secured and golf course architect George W Cobb was hired to draw up plans for an 18 hole layout. Cobb fell in love with the area and described it as one of the most beautiful natural locations for a course he had ever seen.  The first 9 holes were completed and opened for play on July 4, 1964, and the second 9 holes on May 29, 1965.

Patriot Hills Golf Club is the sister course to Dandridge Golf & Country Club and located only 1 1/2 miles from I-40 near Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, rated 4 stars by Golf Digest, and has georgeous panoramic views of the Smokies.

Owned by the Eastern Band of the Cherokee Nation, and managed by Troon Golf of Scottsdale, Arizona, this Robert Trent Jones II design offers golfers an idyllic 18 hole journey, filled with scenic vistas, beautiful landscapes and challenging golf. Native American golf pro Notah Begay III was the design consultant for what is considered to be one of the most dynamic golf courses in Western North Carolina. The course features integrated iconic images with views of the majestic Clingmans Dome peak, the Snowbird Mountain range and the historic Thomas Valley. Sequoyah has been rated the second best course built in 2009 that you can play in the United States by Golf Magazine.

The Course is designed to take best advantage of the beautiful forest setting while offering breathtaking vistas wherever you turn.   The highest point on the course is over 4,800 feet with the lowest at 3,595 feet.   Tee to Green elevations can change as much as 310 feet.   The most unusual design feature of the course is that there are virtually no parallel fairways, which allows for wonderful sounds of nature to be the accompaniment of your round.
